Favorite Scarf Of The Season

Monday, January 01, 2018

It is a cold, cold place in New York right now. I'm talking below 0, and I'm ill prepared living out of my suitcase. Luckily, a scarf can make all the difference sometimes, especially an oversized one. The obsession with blanket scarves has now turned to chunky knits. I work at a little boutique in our downtown district and we have the cutest scarves. When I saw this one with the pockets, which I can also loop around twice for extra warmth, I knew I had to get it. I'm not one for gloves and the hassle of taking them on and off for everything or losing them. Now, I can just hide my hands in these cozy pockets walking around the city and be all set! Plus, I think it might make a nice koozie for my iced coffees.
Another new favorite thing is this Free People top. I found it at Marshall's for $20! I've really been loving this coral color lately and of course any kind of "fun sleeve." Its a thin flowy shirt but so cozy and comfy. I'm really excited to style it dressed up and down. In this case, dressed down for a day of shopping. The sleeves are fun to play around with too, leaving them down or scrunched up to have the baggy part flow over, so easily versatile for different looks!
